Africa to Alaska

To our family: “Home is where we tie one end of the thread of life”. We know we will always find our way home to your welcoming hearts. To our friends: “A faithful friend is a strong defense and he that has found one has found a treasure” Thank you for opening your hearts and homes to us. You will always be welcome where ever we are; anywhere from Africa to Alaska and in between. I pray that in as much as we will be growing separately, we will never grow apart.

Since this wonderful man I call my husband found his way from Seward, Alaska to the green city under the sun……aka Nairobi, we have had many different homes. Nairobi, Kenya (Msafiri); Harare, Zimbabwe(Mufambi); Niamey, Niger (Voyageur), and now Tunis, Tunisia(مسافر).Tashkent, Uzbekistan (путешественник) We still find our way back to Alaska every year for that is where we hope to finally settle, and where our two wonderful children, our daughter Zaria and our son Waladi. We have met some wonderful people and made friends that will forever be dear to us.
