The kids as of today

Here the TV is "baby sitting". Nothing can take their attention away from that scoobydoo. This is what the kids look like today

Kenyan Style

A couple weeks ago Dina Nabeel, a Kenya who just moved here to Tunis invited us over for lunch. She and her mom made the best food we had eaten in a long time. We decided to have them over to meet some of our friends and given that we know how good their food is, we decided to have her mom come and “teach me how to cook” and what ever we made would be what we had for lunch. We ended up with Pilau, Chapati, Ndengu and Jim made for us some "to die for" apple and blue berry pies plus Aishas "sinfully" delicious chocolate caramel cake. The food was great but the company was outstanding. I guess we have to count my blessings because we seem to be very lucky when it comes to making fantastic friends. Sorry I did not take any pictures but as soon as I do I will post some pictures of Dina, her mom and two kids

This is how we do it

Careful now! For those planning to visit us. This is how we welcome people who come to visit. Here the kids are singing an Arabic song while waving a Kenyan, Tunisian and Alaskan flag to welcome Willy a friend of the family visiting from Nairobi. We had gone to pick him up from his hotel. This was hilarious. I could not resist putting it up. Sorry Willy but at least we had a great Kenyan dinner and all our friends loved you.
